Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is a not-for-profit organisation that is committed to the preservation, welfare and protection of native wildlife. We are run completely by volunteers from the local communities, with generous support by local businesses.
We have over 120 volunteers to cover the yearly operation of the Rehabilitation Centre and to provide for the needs of the animals as well as other services such as maintenance, administration and public education. Therefore, we are constantly looking for new volunteers.
Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre aims to rehabilitate any sick or injured wildlife, to participate in the Department of Environment and Conservation's endangered species captive breeding program, and finally, to educate the public about the need to preserve and value wildlife.
