Facts about Ducted Air Conditioning

Here at Ashgrove Air, we specialise in air conditioning units. One of our most popular types of air conditioning is the ducted systems. In fact, there are many reasons why many of our customers prefer out of all other units - here are a few reasons why.

Comfort with fast Heating or Cooling - The inverter function increases capacity for short periods to allow for more rapid cooling or heating.

In heating mode, the “Hot Start” function warms the indoor heat exchanger to a preset temperature to ensure only warm air is discharged.

Flexibility of Zoning Functions - The system can be zoned to allow different areas to be turned on and off as required. 

Efficient Inverter Technology - Once the set temperature is achieved, the inverter reduces the amount of energy consumed to maintain the desired temperature. 

Night Quiet Mode - Timer or automatic setting is available to reduce the compressor speed at night. 

Outdoor Unit Fan Design - Aerofoil fan, high-flared bell mouth and super aero grille all contribute to reducing air turbulence which is a major contributor to noise.
