How much Power will a Solar System Produce?

One of the questions we get asked a lot here at Solar Kinds is just how much energy and power a solar system provides. 

For a normal solar power system, it will produce approximately 4 - 6 units of power, per kW of panels when averaged over a year. Of course many things like weather conditions, roof orientation and shading can all affect solar system's electrical output.  

A typical energy efficient household in Perth generally uses between 8 and 10kW of power per day. Of course with larger homes, this number may not be enough. 

For many, you still will have power bills to pay even after you install solar. However, the amount will be greatly reduced. 

Solar Power Installations are not designed so that you will never have to pay for power again, they are there as a good form of renewable energy where we can benefit from it without having pay for the amount produced.
