So, what exactly are these? They are systems that incorporate both grid-feed and stand-alone in the one simple unit. That means you can harvest all the solar electricity you can during the day, store the excess and then use it at night. You can even charge your batteries using the off-peak tariff as well, then use that electricity during high-demand periods too.
