Lead Contamination At Home

Lead Contamination At Home

Environmental Investigations specialize in conducting field-based investigations for lead. This would absorb a site visit by one of Environmental investigation experienced environmental scientists or engineers, who will collect soil or water samples from strategic locations (typically children's play areas and gardens).

All samples are collected in agreement with published environmental sampling events, and delivered to a NATA-registered, ecological laboratory in your city.

Analytical results will generally be returned in the form of a letter report, which documents how the investigations was conducted and includes a plain-English interpretation of the identified lead concentrations in relation to EPA (1998) Health-Based Soil exploration thresholds.

Should the tested lead concentrations go over the EPA Soil excellence Criteria for residential land use, then recommendations will be offered to advise of available options for managing any lead-affected soil or water, to prevent excessive risks to human health or the environment.
