Recycling used Oils and Fats

Our team here at Scanline are passionate about what we do and why are do it. We are a 100% Australian owned and operated company and we specialise in the environmentally responsible collection. That is we recycle and store used cooking oils (UCO) and fats. 

Our passion comes from the environmental dangers that oil brings and also the sustainability elements that recycling oil would bring. Millions of litres useless and polluting waste cooking oil and fats are collected by us. We recycle them for use the they are often turned into useful products for the manufacture industry.

For us, the largest use of this recycled cooking oil is for biodiesel production. This means that millions of tonnes of waste product are converted into fuel. Another important use is feed for livestock for the agricultural industry.

This is a huge bonus for the environment. By recycling oil, it helps avoid the contamination of land fill, stops the blocking of our sewerage systems and the pollution of our waterways and fragile eco-systems.
