Saffron

Millridge Organic is certified Organic in Conversion. Millridge Organic has for sale Saffron spice threads, grown in the ever expanding saffron beds on the farm. Our saffron is unusual, given that it is grown and certified under the farms organic program.

All aspects of the saffron program are carried out by hand from planting to weeding picking drying and storing.

After flower picking is completed each morning, the saffron threads are dried and stored in glass jars.

Saffron is available from early May each year

Delivery is coordinated from farm direct via post or from on farm sales.
