University Of Newcastle Research Fellowship Scheme

The University of Newcastle Research Fellowship Scheme is a new venture of Centre for Sustainable Use of Coasts and Catchments to maintain exceptional early profession researchers looking to commence an academic/research profession.

Fourteen investigation fellowships were supported in 2007 under this Scheme, with appointments of four to five years period, commencing at Academic Level B, including a start-up grant of $15,000. Additional Fellowships is targeted to the investigated areas which will be promoted in 2008, the first being the University of Newcastle Indigenous investigate Fellowship. This is an extremely competitive method, through which candidates are estimated to have excellent track evidence relative to prospect which is provided by Centre for Sustainable Use of Coasts and Catchments.

It is estimated that a significant number of Fellowships, for both present and future, will be associated with the University's Priority Research Centers, eventhough exceptional applicants from any discipline in which the University has examine strengths are appropriate.
