Green Advantages of Skylights

Here at Green Up, we are huge believers in the benefits and advantages of Skylights - an innovation in energy saving windows.

They will not only save money you by reducing energy use and brightening up your room, but opening skylights also lets fresh air into your homes and it will appear more spacious and fresh.

Skylights come in different types - they are based on a selection of shape, glazing (material of the window) and colour. 

The different shapes include: flat, dome / round, pyramid, polygon, or tubular. Choose which ever one that will fit the design of your home the best. 

Flat skylights are similar to glass or plastic panels installed on the roof. Dome skylights are like a half bubble protruding from your roof.

A simple example would be, if your room is small, we'd recommend not choosing something as complicated as polygon skylight windows. If you prefer to achieve a softer look on your roof or ceiling, choosing dome skylights is the right thing to do.
