The Living Green Festival – a kinder shade of green
The Living Green Festival is a day of fun in a kinder shade of green for the planet, humans and other animals and its back at the Albert Hall on Sunday 2nd October from 10-4pm!
With over 80 market stalls selling globally found plant-based cuisine, including Aussie pies and a cruelty-free BBQ, Salvadorian, Mexican, RAW, sweets galore, fresh juices, smoothies, chai and ice creams plus other stalls selling and promoting sustainable, fair trade and cruelty-free products and services - everyone’s sure to find something!
In the Kidzone, Base Zero Rock Climbing is back with their 8m rock climbing wall which kids (and the kids-at-heart) can climb to get the best view of the festival. Plus there will be face painting and an art & craft tent.
Bring a blanket and chill on the grass outside while listening to live music from some of Canberra's up and coming performers like Lucy Sugerman, Ghostnoises and Hope Street or catch one of the many workshops or talks on a wide range of environmental, sustainability and food issues.
Wait! WOOF! The 2016 LGF will be hosting Carson’s Café, a café that caters for humans and their canine friends!
So come and experience a kinder shade of green!
