NABERS

NABERS - the National Australian Built Environment Rating System - is a nation wide initiative run by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.

NABERS is a rating system for existing buildings - all based on performance. 

NABERS will rate a existing building on the basis of its scientifically measured operational impacts on the environment. This indicates of how the environmental management is going and comparisons should be made between neighbours to improve ratings.
