This Energy Monitor is designed for Smart Meters only.
There is sensor that attaches over the LED of the smart meter and measures the meters impulse rate and sends this data to the display that you can keep within your house. Fully portable and easy to locate in the kitchen or any room of the house.
The wireless monitor displays energy consumed from the grid, it does not include the energy used from your solar panels. This is useful as it is a good indicator of how much you can expect to be billed for by your energy retailer.
Data is transmitted to the display every 30 sec
Data is stored within the unit to enable you to check historical usage by hour, day, week or month!
Supplied with lithium batteries (lasting around 5 years) for both transmitter and display.
