New Interactive Catchment Management Model

The Eco-Technology Centre has A glitzy interactive three-dimensional water catchment management model is the latest experiential learning display to be developed by the Futureworld Eco-Technology Centre A working committee has been set up to develop the concept and transform it through innovative design and technical development into a very imaginative display so that It will include urban / commercial/industrial situations in order to explore the sustainability of the total water cycle.

Professional expertise is being provided by the Sydney Catchment Authority, Southern Rivers Catchment Management Authority, University of Wollongong and Wollongong City Council.

The Eco-Technology Centre model will depict both the natural water catchment system and the altered catchments highlighting the changes to water flow that result from different approaches to water management.
