OVO was launched in the UK in 2009, with a focus on great service, affordable pricing and access to more renewable energy. OVO has now become the singular largest energy supplier from renewable sources in UK. Now we have launched in Australia and look to do the same green initiative to households all over Australia.

OVO has 100% carbon neutral electricity. To get this result we analyze the life cycle of electricity to our customers including what the emissions released in the four stages of energy: generation, transmission, retail activities and supply.

OVO uses a nationally recognized standard to estimate how much emission is created by the stages of energy. These are calculated in tonnes per CO2 equivalent. Our Carbon offset certificates are taken from internationally recognized schemes that are accredited by the Clean Energy Regulator.
