The Central Queensland Forest Association is funded by the Commonwealth and Queensland State Governments. We have a a charter to represent the interests of all forest industry stakeholders in the region which extends from Miriam Vale in the South to Bowen in the North and across to the border.
Central Queensland Forest Association plans to increase awareness on the social, economic and environmental values of forest based industries and to encourage sustainable commercial forestry activity through plantation and native forest management practices.
Our mission is to facilitate and promote sustainable forest-based industries in Central Queensland.
We aim for Central Queensland to become widely recognised as a region in which forests are valued for their economic, social and environmental contributions to our community.
