We are of wildlife emergency response service which has been in Victoria for the past 30 years. We wish to create a community which believes in coexistence in harmony and cares about the Australian wildlife. As a result of various activities carried out by humans, thousands of native animals every year become sick, orphaned every year. If these animals are left unattended they may suffer or die.
If anyone sees an animal that needs help, they can reach out and gain access to our wildlife emergency response service through our emergency phone number or an online reporting system. In the past year we have received around 80,000 requests for help for over 50,000 animals across the state. Once we receive a call, our emergency response operators arrange for a trained volunteer to attend to the animal.
We also liaise with other organisations to ensure the best possible treatment for the animal. Get in touch with us for more information at www.wildlifevictoria.org.au.
