Walkabout Park is a wildlife park established to protect animals that have come into care, breed endangered animals to release back into the wild. All while providing an educational and experimental learning space for students.

Visitors can engage themselves in the world of animals and learn how to save their homes, food, and wildlife. Walkabout Park is found on Darkinjung and Guringai land, found in a rich Aboriginal landscape. Ancient knowledge shows how animals can look after themselves if their habitat is healthy. Therefore, teaching us how to care for our country, looking out for our native flora and fauna.  

Walkabout park is home to over 180 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and frogs. Unfortunately, many of these species are on the verge of extinction, but within our habitat are thriving while being protected from dangers.
