Critical Mass

Critical Mass can be described as an oxymoron: "organised coincidence".

Large numbers of cyclists and roller bladers would gather to ride in the same direction, at the same time, through city traffic.

Critical Mass happens in Sydney (and most other Australian capitals) on the last Friday of every month, at 5:30PM.

Sydney's mass starts every month at the Archibald Fountain at the northern end of Hyde Park.
