Steve's Tank Cleaning

Tanks play a vital role in rainwater harvesting, storage & use. We need to maintain our tanks to keep them safe & running efficiently just as we do our cars.

The days of emptying tank and shovelling sludge out through a manhole are gone.  We clean tanks using a vacuum and pump method. Tanks can be cleaned full or low on water they do not need to be emptied.

Only 6-8 inches of water is lost on average. Disturbance to water is minimal.

Water can be treated to Australian Health Standards if necessary.

In general tanks should be cleaned every 2 years.
